Webcomics Tarot Project!

A collaboration that I organized with over 60 different authors and artists to make a full set of 78 tarot-themed artworks for an online gallery! This project spanned four years (from 2009-2013) and features artists from around the globe. I designed the cards template and contributed three pieces between my two (currently on-hiatus) webcomics. Wisit […]

Snowball Fight

Last year’s holiday card to my friends and family, featuring my original characters. This was my first artwork on which I used spot gloss, which is just fantastic. (It really brings out the bright colors — I love bright colors, if you haven’t noticed.)

Teaki Tea

2012, Illustrator, Photoshop. A tea-related branding and packaging concept. I designed three versions for different lines of tea, each with different package shapes, as well as created the Teaki-face characters. Sketches include concepts for other things involving the project’s premise: to create three packages of different shapes for a single brand. One of my requirements […]

Crying

2011, Paint Tool Sai, Photoshop. My first Threadless design submission. It’s good to get your emotions out. I learned a lot in the process of making and submitting this (a big thanks to Mallory Dyer and everyone who commented and critiqued!). These are the original two sketch versions, done years before I decided to make […]

Untitled (for Japan)

2011, mixed media (newspaper, bristol board, marker, canvas). Piece created to raise funds for the 2011 disaster in Japan. It was included in black & white in Aftershock: Artists Respond to Disaster in Japan. The canvas is patterned with glued excerpts from The Tennessean about the tragic tsunami’s effects in Japan, including news from the […]

The Apple

2010, Paint Tool Sai, Photoshop. Done for an Infectious laptop skin art contest. The first time I had fun drawing a snake. (I love snakes; just not so much drawing them.)

Who is Responsible for This?

11″x14″ ink on bristol board. Pinup artwork auctioned to raise funds for charitable purposes following the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in 2010.
