Teaki Tea

2012, Illustrator, Photoshop. A tea-related branding and packaging concept. I designed three versions for different lines of tea, each with different package shapes, as well as created the Teaki-face characters. Sketches include concepts for other things involving the project’s premise: to create three packages of different shapes for a single brand.

One of my requirements for creating the Teaki characters was designing them so they could be viewed upside-down as well, so that, for example, if the cube or tray boxes were turned a different way, they’d mostly still resemble a face. The pyramids could also be stacked in alternating orientations.

Designer, artist, author, comic enthusiast, and geek about visual design/video games/Japan/human rights. Among other things!
