Dermatillomania and Me

Something I’ve been wanting to talk about for a while is skin-picking disorder, or dermatillomania.

Undertale’s First Birthday

UNDERTALE came out over a year ago. Can you believe it? It still feels like just yesterday when it burst onto the scene in non-violent glory. I’m so glad that many people ended up loving this game — it even made the local anime convention more fun than usual earlier this year.

Photo Friday: Many Moons

I’ve taken to taking photos of the moon when it’s nearing being full. I particularly love partial views of it against the blue sky. I took the photo above last month. This one, however, was taken earlier this week: …when it was slightly darker and mistier out. It’s starting to get dark earlier, already… I’m […]

Photo Friday: Baby Birds

A few weeks ago, I saw two baby birds in my yard in the same day. The first one was in one of the flower pots in the back… Not pictured: I saw the mother fly down to it there and feed it a worm. Sweet! I took this picture from inside my garage, since […]

Nashville Cherry Blossom Japan Relief Event 2011

The Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival became the Nashville Cherry Blossom Japan Relief Event! In light of recent events, many vendors offered to put part or all of their proceeds towards relief efforts in Japan, and there were many ways to donate. The only foreign consulate here in Tennessee is one for Japan, and we’re proud […]

Nashville Celebration of Cultures 2010

Sing! Dance! Everybody loves everybody! We’re all connected! In an effort to get out to more festivals (because, as it turns out, there are a lot of cool ones locally, especially this time of year), I went to the Celebration of Cultures at Centennial Park earlier this month. This happened shortly after a rather successful […]
