In my note about AI and how I don’t consent to its use of my work, I forgot to make explicit that I don’t (and will never) use AI for any aspect of my workflow. Not even drafting. Everything you have seen and will see in the future came out of this noggin, even if inspired by the real world, old, or contemporary works!
The use of AI in general is baseline unethical. It relies on burning tons of resources that are only farmed by the poor in places like Congo. Besides that, you would need to be both utterly bereft of talent and a complete loser to use AI to attain your creative goals. You could just work hard at it like the rest of us (or even just commission us!).
